Israel And Hamas accept 72-hour truce to begin early Friday

GAZA CITY:  US Secretary of State John Kerry announced that Israel and Hamas had agreed a 72-hour truce. After 25 days of bloody confrontation, both countries are due  to begin ceasefire at 0500 GMT Friday.

It has been confirmed by Egypt recently that Israeli and Palestinian representatives, including from Hamas, but the Israeli forces would remain inside Gaza.Earlier Thursday, Israel swore not to accept any ceasefire that did not permit troops to remain destroying tunnels used by militants to attack Israel.

The announcement came as the Palestinian death toll in Gaza hit 1,442 where two thirds of these are civilians, superior that of a massive three-week Israeli operation over New Year 2009, medics said. This action draws criticism almost every part of the world.

The truce was a joint US-UN initiative and will give civilians “a much needed reprieve,” Kerry said.
“This is a respite, a moment of opportunity — not an end. It’s not a solution,” he warned, saying Israel would still be allowed to carry out “defensive” operations to destroy the tunnels.

The offer was accepted by Hamas and Israel. The announcement came after the UN Security Council stated “grave disappointment” that repeated calls for a ceasefire had not been observed, and needed there to be a sequence of humanitarian interruptions to ease situations for noncombatants trapped in the war-torn area.

Despite the growing international concern over the civilian death toll in Gaza, Washington said it had agreed to refill Israel’s diminishing weaponries supplies.

The declaration came as the White House said there was little doubt that Israeli weaponry was the source of a “totally indefensible” strike on a UN school in northern Gaza that killed 16 people on Wednesday. The school was protecting over 3,000 Palestinians made homeless by the harsh fighting.

Prominent doctor dies from Ebola after treating dozen of patients

FREETOWN — A prominent and praiseworthy doctor who has risked his own life to treat dozens of Ebola patients died on Tuesday from the Ebola disease. Dr. Sheik Humarr Khan, who was admired as a national hero for treating the EBola disease in Sierra Leone. He was pronounced dead by health ministry officials of Sierra Leon. Before he passed away, Dr. Khan had been confined in quarantine in Sierra Leone.
Two American health workers are presently hospitalized with Ebola in neighboring Liberia. Ebola virus spreads through  a direct contact of bodily fluids such as sweat, blood, urine and saliva. In hospitals, health workers are more vulnerable to the virus as they are close to the bodily contact with the patients.
The Ebola epidemic is the largest in history with its number of deaths accused on the disease in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria. As of now the disease has the fatality rate of 60 percent. It has still no vaccine and no specific cure.
The chairman of the Liberia Airport Authority board, Binyah Kesselly said police are now dispatched at the airport in Monrovia to impose screening of passengers.
On Tueday, ASKY airline released a statement  that it was temporarily halting flights not only to Monrovia but also to Freetown, Sierra Leone. Flights will resume in the capital of the third major country where people have died out of disease.ASKY is just making sure to keep its passengers and staff safe during this worrying time.
The actions follow the death Friday of a 40-year-old American man of Liberian descent, who had been on several flights on ASKY, initiating widespread fear of an outbreak that shows no signs of reducing in West Africa. The man was named Patrick Sawyer, who worked for the West African nation's Finance Ministry. He  took an ASKY Airlines flight from Liberia to Ghana, then on to Togo and finally to Nigeria where he was directly confined to quarantine until his death.
His sister also died of Ebola though he assured that he had not had a close physical contact with her when she was sick.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization says the danger of travelers contracting Ebola is considered on its lower level because it requires direct contact with bodily fluids unlike flu as it can be spread through unexpected contact or breathing in the same air.

"Sadie doesn't want her brother to grow up Video" Goes Viral

MANILA, Philippines – "Sadie doesn't want her brother to grow up Video" is a less than one minute YouTube video that has gone viral after the cute “Charlie Bit My Finger” has surfaced the social media. As of today, the video gained more than seven million views and received more than 7000 comments.

The video contains short video clip of Sadie Miller, a 5-year-old girl from Phoenix Arizona who was completely saddened when she found out that Carson, her cute 3-month-old brother would grow and will never stay little forever. In the video, she kissed his little brother’s head and wailed hysterically, “I don’t want him to grow up! He’s so cute, and I don’t wanna die when I’m a hundred!”

And when her innocent cute little brother turned his head on her and giggled while amazingly watched her crying, she completely lost it again and cried "Oh, you are so cute. I love your cute little smiles.”

This 5-year-old girl just showed us that some despairs are simply rooted in the pure and innocent way of loving her younger brother as we can seldom see in today’s generation that kids would really care of their sibling’s development.

This video shows a kind of love that we have rarely seen in the actual life.  The scary fact is we all grow up and we do not stay young forever and so Sadie and Carson. But the video that they have upload is worth watching until forever.

Here is the link to that Cute Video.
